Hello! My name is Stephen Hilger. I’m an artist & writer living in Chicago, IL.
Originally from the East Coast, I moved to the midwest shortly after graduating from Rutgers University with a BA in English Literature.
I have a strong passion for illustration, writing, and game design. As an artist, I seek to evoke the absurd and fantastic. My work often depicts colorful characters in dour settings, or creatures of myth & folklore behaving in a routine way.
I also co-host a weekly video game podcast called Into The Aether and make video essays about games and game design on my youtube channel Memory Card Manuscript
